01What we collect
When you book a chair, we ask for the basics: your name, phone number and email address. We also save the details of your appointment — the service, the barber, the time, and any notes you leave for us.
If you choose to add a style reference photo or haircut notes, those are stored with your booking history so your barber can pick up where you left off. You never have to add them — they're optional.
If you join a waitlist, we keep your preferred barber, day and time window until the opening is offered to you or you ask us to remove you.
02Why we collect it
The whole point is that you shouldn't have to explain your cut twice. Your phone number is how we find your history when you come back, how we send booking confirmations and reminders, and how we reach you if an opening frees up on a day you asked about.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Your barber sees your notes so they can do the work — that's it.
03Messages we send
Depending on your booking, we may send you a confirmation when you book, a reminder before your appointment, and a confirmation if you reschedule or cancel. If you're on the waitlist, we'll message you when a matching chair opens up.
These messages come from Northline Barbershop only, and only about your appointments. Reply to any message or call us at (216) 555-0100 if you'd like them to stop.
04How long we keep things
We keep your appointment history and cut notes for as long as you're a customer, because that history is the product — it's how your barber remembers you. If you'd like us to delete your information, call or email us and we'll take care of it.
05Photos
Reference photos you upload are used for your own appointments and are visible to your barber. We occasionally photograph work in the shop for our own gallery and social channels — if we ever photograph you, we'll ask first.
06Questions
This shop is run by people, not a call center. If anything here is unclear or you want something corrected or removed, talk to Marcus or email chair@northlinebarber.com and we'll sort it out.
